The Ford Volunteer Corps needs your input as they develop new opportunities to support communities and nonprofits in the months ahead. Please click here to take a brief survey and provide your feedback by April 6

“We are working to offer as many flexible opportunities as possible for employees to continue engaging with their communities, but in order to do that we need to hear from you,” said Yisel Cabrera, manager, Government and Community Relations, Ford Motor Company Fund. “The survey results will allow us to better match employees’ interests and skills with nonprofit needs and create programs and projects that are meaningful and impactful for both employees and the community.”

If you haven’t volunteered lately, the Ford Volunteer Corps recently launched a new volunteer system which can be accessed by visiting www.fordfund.org/volunteer. In addition to registering for projects, the new system also offers enhanced features like selecting your interests and skills and tracking your service hours. This new site gives the Ford Volunteer Corps advanced capabilities to better meet the needs of both its nonprofit partners and employee volunteers.

Some upcoming examples of Ford Volunteer Corps projects:

  • Build Spring Cleaning Kits from home for Zaman International
  • Virtual STEAM Activities with Detroit Public Schools (SAE A World In Motion)
  • Girls Rock it with Michigan Council of Women in Technology Foundation
  • Lawn Maintenance at Cass Community Social Services
  • General Maintenance at Maybury Farm

The Ford Volunteer Corps looks forward to working with you to help strengthen our local communities and make people’s lives better.

Thank you!
