Ford’s 2021 global diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) award winners were announced today as part of the second annual CEO Action Pledge Day of Understanding.

“Congratulations to the nominees and winners,” said Ford chief diversity officer Lori Costew. “I know we all have a lot of listening and learning to do, but when I hear about these amazing individuals and teams I am inspired by your thoughtfulness and your commitment to help us all grow together. These examples bring Care for Each Other to life.”

Award recipients were nominated by their colleagues. Then, after three rounds of review by volunteers across the company, individuals and teams representing China, Europe, International Markets Group, South America, North America, Ford Credit and the Ford mobility team were selected. The work of these winners represents the most impactful efforts made toward achieving global diversity, equity and inclusion between 2019 and 2020 by the entire Ford family.

All of the nominees deserve recognition for exceeding expectations in their work to drive toward a culture of belonging at Ford. Their significant contributions will help us achieve Ford’s DEI north star: We are family. We celebrate our differences. We all belong.
