Last month, the dealership participated in Random Acts of Kindness Week, sending lunches to local 911 dispatchers, crafting a care packages for local ER units, coordinating an on-site blood drive, donating food supplies to the SPCA, and even sending lunch to neighboring dealerships including Hyundai and Chevrolet.
Over the years, Gaudin Motor Company has supported more than 65 local organizations.
“My grandfather George Gaudin always said, ‘Serving our clients and our communities is more than what we do; it is who we are,’ and we make it our mission to uphold his standard every single day,” says Gary Ackerman, owner of Gaudin Motor.
“As we celebrate this incredible milestone of 100 years, it is important that we give back to the customers and team members who have played a major role in our success. We couldn’t thank the Las Vegas community enough for their support, and we will continue to do our part to make our city a better place to live and work.”
The idea of a Gaudin dealership started in the early 1920s when a young man with a fascination for machines began to tinker with farm tractors and Model T trucks on the farms that surrounded his community. By 1926, George Gaudin opened his first dealership in Escalon, CA, finally settling his operation in Las Vegas in the 1950s. The company is now made up of three Las Vegas locations: Gaudin Ford, Ford Country, and Gaudin Porsche of Las Vegas.
