The history of Mr. Antonio Camberos Revilla with the Adoption of Schools program begins in the 1980s, being part of a second generation of this initiative that oversees supporting, together with the Ford Civic Committee and its Dealers, the renovation plan, with which Automotive Products seeks to maintain the Ford school buildings in excellent condition to provide quality education to children.

According to figures presented in the publication of State Indicators for the Continuous Improvement of Education in Chihuahua 2021, between 2010 and 2015 the percentage of people in secondary education, that is, who had completed primary school, went from 71.3 to 79.6%, these numbers reflect the great work of basic education schools in the state. Every year more children can enjoy uninterrupted studies thanks to the joint work between the authorities, our allies, as well as the community itself. At Ford we are proud to have dealers who are not only dedicated to selling cars, but also focus their efforts on carrying out actions that favor education in Mexico.

"The people who live around the schools enjoy a completely different environment than there was 15 years ago," said Mr. Camberos. "The objective of Automotive Products is not only to provide education, educational centers are a place to learn, but they also become a community nucleus that drives society to get ahead." Seeing for the future of children is essential because the environment in which they develop can define the steps they take later.

He nostalgically remembers that when he joined Productos Automotrices, with only 6 institutions within the program; Now this initiative provides education to more than 7,000 children, an impressive feat that shows enormous commitment. Project after project, school after school, Automotive Products has expanded its impact zone from one to three states.

An example of its impact was the occasion in which there were no longer enough students in the community to fill two schools, so the municipal president wanted to close the elementary school run by Automotive Products to bring the children together in the one built by the municipality, but the society petitioned for the students to stay on the Ford campus, due to its great condition and location.

Today, Antonio Camberos cannot imagine his life without the Adoption of Schools program, since the commitment goes beyond providing education, it is about encouraging children so that they have a promising future, as well as being full of success.
