COLOGNE, Germany – An immaculate 2006 Ford GT that has covered less than 15 miles is going under the hammer and could fetch more than £500,000.
One of only 541 models produced in Tungsten Grey, this iconic car is being marketed by SBX Cars with bidding expiring on September 18.
It boasts a space-age aluminium chassis, and distinctive windswept body, and is powered by a 5.4-litre supercharged V8 that produces 550 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque.
With a 0-60 time of just 3.4 seconds, it can cover the quarter mile in 11.5 seconds and has a top speed of 205 mph.
According to SBX Cars: “This 2006 Ford GT, made during the final year of production, is finished in Ford’s factory Tungsten Grey over an Ebony leather interior.
“It was specced from the factory with forged-aluminum lightweight 10-spoke BBS wheels which sit in front of optional red brake callipers over the stock black version and cross-drilled and vented disc brakes. The exterior stripe package, which this car wears in silver on top of the grey paint, was an option.
“Purchased by the second and current owner at auction in 2018, this Ford GT has since been part of a private collection and has been stored in climate-controlled storage.”
