The 2024 Crandon World Championship, a cornerstone event in off-road racing, saw dominating performances from Loren Healy and Vaughn Gittin Jr. in their 4400 Ford Broncos. Known as "the Big House," Crandon draws top competitors from around the world because of its challenging course and rich history. On Thursday, Healy and Gittin Jr. took to the track for two practice sessions, with the second session determining the starting order for Sunday’s race. Healy excelled in qualifying, securing the pole position, while Gittin Jr. followed closely in second place.

Bronco's success continued on Saturday during the Rage on the Rocks night race. Both drivers started from the front row, and Healy capitalized on his pole position, finishing in first place. The weekend concluded with Sunday's Ultra4 4400 Crandon World Championship. The race featured the traditional and dramatic land rush start, with Healy taking an early lead and Gittin Jr. maintaining close pursuit. Healy’s exceptional driving earned him another victory, marking the eighth win for the team in the last nine Crandon World Championships. Gittin Jr.’s third-place finish provided a double podium for Fun-Haver Off-Road and Bronco, adding to the team's successful year.

This victory at Crandon follows their triumph in August’s Vegas-to-Reno race in the stock Ford Bronco Raptor. Crandon, with its storied legacy and rigorous demands, remains a significant event for off-road racing, highlighting the talents and perseverance of its competitors. Healy and Gittin Jr's success here underscores Bronco's well-earned place at the forefront of off-road racing.
