Ford is rolling out in-vehicle karaoke with the Stingray Karaoke App, available now via a software update to the F-150 Lightning and coming soon to the Mustang Mach-E where vehicles are available in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Mexico.
The app allows customers and their passengers to sing along to their favorite hits — from rock and pop classics, to Latin and family-friendly tracks, and more — in 38 languages. When the vehicle is parked, the lyrics appear on the in-vehicle screen for everyone to follow. And while cruising, the co-pilot can easily take over as DJ by scanning a QR code to control the playlist from their phone. This feature was developed in collaboration between the Ford and Stingray engineering team. With Ford’s karaoke experience, every drive can become a sing-along!
