Oct 15, 2025

MADRID, Spain - Spanish mobility company Cabify has just added 117 new Ford Capris to its fleet in Madrid, strengthening its commitment to electric mobility in the capital.

The Fords, all Capri RWD models, will be operated by Vecttor, a subsidiary of the Cabify group, adding to nearly 600 electric vehicles that the company has acquired in the past 18 months.

Alberto González, CEO of Cabify in Spain, said: “We are pleased to announce this collaboration with Ford, a company that shares our values and commitment to transforming the urban mobility sector in our country. We will continue to move forward with our 2030 decarbonisation plan to ensure that 100 per cent of trips with Cabify are made in zero-emission vehicles.”

Jesús Alonso, president and CEO of Ford Spain, told @Ford: “Ford is transforming its range towards more efficient, connected and accessible mobility. With models like the new Capri, we take a firm step towards the electric future without giving up design, technology or emotion behind the wheel. These innovative features will now be available to Cabify customers.”

Established in Madrid in 2011, Cabify now also operates in Chile, Argentina, Peru, Colombia and Uruguay, and has approximately one thousand employees in offices in Spain and Latin America. It also has more than 50 million users, 1.5 million drivers, and cab driver members, who help to mobilise more than 40,000 companies.
