Greenpower is a charity which gets young people enthusiastic about science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) by challenging them to design, build and race an electric car, with a strong focus on sustainability.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of Ford’s partnership with the organisation, and in that time the Company has played a key role in supporting Greenpower’s mission through mentorship, technical expertise, and sponsorship of Greenpower teams and events.

Ford CEO Jim Farley said: “We are incredibly proud to celebrate 20 years of partnership with Greenpower Education Trust. Encouraging young people to explore STEM subjects and careers is crucial for the future of our industry, and Greenpower provides an outstanding platform to ignite that passion. Seeing students design, build, and race their own electric vehicles is truly inspiring, and we look forward to continuing our support for years to come.”
